Major Peewee, 2013-2014, Select (BLOMHA)

A fantastic milestone for the season!

The Bulldogs enjoyed a heavy tournament schedule through December 2013 into early Febrary 2014  which yielded one Gold and one Silver Medal against Select teams from across the province.  We are a team that believes in constant improvement so we entered MD/AE representative tournaments in Oakville and London. We matched all challengers demonstrating the depth of skill in our team.  Looking forward to the Alliance Championship--may the best team win!

The tournament started strong when the BullDogs romped to convincing victories against the Thornhill Rebels (7-1 win) and Kanata Predators (4-0 win) led by outstanding team play and rock solid goaltending to achieve a 10 game winning streak.  On game 3, the Erindale Spitfires showed their high speed and determination to get in front of the BullDogs and gain a well deserved 3-2 victory.  Strong defense and SUPERHUMAN goaltending limited the damage to set up a rematch for the championship.  On Sunday morning the BullDogs regrouped and shot the Spitfires down in flames (5-0 win).   A dominating offence combined with intelligent end-to-end team play and an impenetrable goalie ruled the day.  GO DOGS!   

Our Toys for Tots drive turned out really well!  Thanks to all who contributed and to MP for organizing us.  We were able to drop off 4 large bags of toys for our donation.

And thanks to all the boys who participated in the Santa Claus parade, about 10 in total. Great Job guys!
