The Bulldogs Peewee White team had an exciting final game to end the
season.
The boys worked hard to get a 1-0 lead against Waterloo Black. The team has been blessed with stellar goal-tending all season from both Johnny and Ben.
On this night, the boys carried the lead into the 3rd period and Johnny stoned Waterloo when he reached back and made a diving paddle stop to keep the game 1-0. It was probably the save of the season!
With under a minute left, and Waterloo’s goalie on the bench, the Warriors where finally able to get a goal to make it 1-1.
We are all proud of how hard the boys battled. They were 50 seconds away from ending the season with a win. They did keep battling to earn a very well deserved tie, and an important point to finish 5th in the playoff standings!
Way to go Bulldogs, and thank you for a fun season.

Congratulations to our Peewee MD
Bulldogs White as they brought home the Silver Medal this weekend at the Ray
Hunt Memorial Classic in Orangeville!
The boys, with the help of Dylan T. from
the Minor Peewee MD team, played with heart and determination winning all 4
round robin games, and going on to win the semi-final 10-1.
After beating
Whitby 4-1 in the round robin game, Whitby took revenge in the finals, handing
our Bulldogs a 3-0 loss.
The
team finished the tournament scoring a total of 31 goals and allowing only 8
against throughout the six games. Congratulations to the entire team, plus
Dylan, for a great result in Orangeville. Amazing tournament and exciting
hockey played over the holiday break.

The coaching staff wants to thank all of the Bulldogs MD White team for their hard work to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Programs at the IKEA Christmas Tree Lot.
Our Bulldogs Elves volunteered over 100 hours to this great cause, helped move over 10,000 trees, and had a part in raising over $25,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Programs in Hamilton-Burlington!!
