My goal is to teach, develop, motivate and inspire hockey players. I want them to become great players on the ice and great people off the ice. The most important factor in developing a player is belief.  Players must believe they are capable of being great! How you practice is how you play.

Committed to providing a supportive environment where young athletes can develop hockey skills, teamwork and confidence while building a lifelong love for the game.

Dedicated to teaching developmental hockey skills, sportsmanship and confidence in a positive team environment.

I am heading into my 5th year coaching with BLOMHA and 3rd year with the Bulldogs. My primary focus is on creating a fun and energetic atmosphere at the rink. My goal is to develop skilled hockey players while also instilling character, responsibility, sportsmanship, and accountability in my team.

My goal is to create a positive, growth-focused environment where players can develop their skills and love for the game. I focus on teamwork, strong fundamentals, and building character through competition. Next season, we’ll aim to push our limits while having fun and growing as a team.
Before every practice and every game we talk about two things: working hard and having fun. My coaching style is positive and uplifting while working hard towards team goals . I strive for a Ted Lasso approach – including the vest, but minus the moustache! Our drills are designed to keep kids moving all of the time while having lots of fun.  I strongly believe in fair play and balance while working towards team goals. I encourage balance in all respects along the lines of working hard and having fun.

My love for coaching centers on fostering a deep love for the sport, emphasizing the importance of hard work and integrity in every aspect of the game. I believe in the power of focusing on winning one shift at a time, cultivating dripline and dedication in each player. Through this approach, I build a foundation of trust, respect, and a strong team mentality that drives both personal and collective success.

My focus as a coach is creating an environment where players enjoy the game while developing their skills, competitiveness, and team-first mentality. I strive to build a hard-working, accountable team that pushes each other to grow and succeed both on and off the ice.

Work ethic, team work, skill development, and commitment are the key foundations of my coaching philosophy. 100% effort on the ice is the expectation of all players as giving their best is something everyone can do regardless of  individual skill.
Working as a team up and down the ice is a key area of focus. Understanding the game, positions, strategy, and working with each other on and off the ice to succeed as a team is who we want to be.
The players are coached through a positive environment where they are held accountable to embracing the program and its objectives, while having fun playing the game we all love!

I believe the development of foundational hockey skills is the most important aspect above all else. I support players being creative and figuring out their game. Our coaching staff fosters a team first approach to hockey and the values of our team.

I am known for my 'back to basics' coaching approach,   which is a merit-based style that recognizes effort, skill and performance.  By valuing merit, the style I intend to use with my team promotes fitness, accountability and the development of leaders.  I hope to see a very engaged and motivated group players on our team in 2025-2026.

We take a team first approach with a huge emphasis on team building that starts from day one with on and off ice activities
Strong emphasis on positional play and on ice awareness
We task every kid on the team with a job and provide roles based on kids skill sets

I spent my minor hockey career playing AAA hockey in Worcester,  Massachusetts; Prince George, British Columbia; and Oakville, Ontario. I seek a balance between competing to win and the fun of playing the game we all love with friends. My goal is to teach the team to achieve their potential as young hockey players and young humans so that they can enjoy playing this game for life.

I have been coaching hockey for 8 years and firmly believe that the youth Rep hockey experience should be developmental, competitive, sportsmanlike and fun. I strive to follow the Hockey Canada Development Pyramid with an age and ability-appropriate mix of individual technical skill (skating, passing, shooting, puck handling) and team tactics, systems and strategies. I do my best to instill a love of hockey and competition, teach players how to be great teammates, and help develop self-aware, positive, confident and fit young people.

Developing good hockey players is secondary to developing good people. Endorsing accountability, responsibility, and commitment among players. Teaching our youth to come to the rink ready to compete.

I have coached hockey, rugby and football for over 25 years. I am a firefighter and a teacher. My goal is to develop excellent hockey players and fine young people through skill development, teamwork, and perseverance.

I strive to develop mature, young athletes who want to achieve the best for themselves, their peers, and their communities through the promotion of the rules, game strategy and fair play, while instilling or fostering a lifelong passion for the game.
I promote a team first culture, that will show pride in our organization and community by bringing a group of individuals together in an "all for one and one for all" approach to their teammates and coaches. We will play games to win while providing equal ice time but putting the athletes in the best situation to succeed for themselves and the team.

My approach to coaching is based on the interest of making the entire experience enjoyable and worthwhile for the players, parents and coaching staff. This is achieved through my commitment to mentoring, motivating, inspiring and developing our team as a whole. We will practice and play hard, with a focus on maintaining a strong work ethic, employing sportsmanship and exercising accountability for all involved.

I am firm but fair. I believe in hard work and accountability both on and off the ice. I teach skills, teamwork and team tactics. I ask that players try their best and most importantly, have fun.
