Rep MD Program 2019- 2020:
  
The season for all Rep MD teams officially begins in late September and concludes as teams are eliminated from, or win, their respective divisional playoffs.

Minor Novice through Minor Midget teams:

Alliance Teams: Brantford, Hamilton, Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, St. Catharines and Stratford. Depending on the number of teams within the Alliance, some additional centres could be added or removed.

Please note regarding team fees: *No Fundraising permitted by teams


Minor Novice: $2200.00


Due to the half ice game requirement Minor Novice teams will carry 18 players. Players will have three practices per week to start the season until game play begins in mid November. One of these practices will be a player development practice led by Director of Coaching, Player and Team Development (Steve Pronger) and Goaltending Tutor (Rick Katchanoski). Home games will be played on Saturdays and away games on Sundays. If there is no scheduled game on Saturday it will result in a team practice. The team will have access to $3000.00 for tournaments and $2000.00 for miscellaneous expenses.     

Novice through Minor Midget Teams: will have access to $5000.00 for Tournaments and $2100.00 for Miscellaneous Expenses. Teams will also receive twelve (12) team Development sessions throughout the season at the Junior Cougars facilities in addition to their two weekly practices. We are "making development for our MD players a priority".

Novice: $2700.00 - Will begin the season playing half-ice hockey. Due to full ice game requirements which will begin in mid January each team will carry 17 players.

Minor Atom to Peewee: $2800.00

Minor Bantam to Minor Midget: $3000.00 - Teams will carry a roster of 18 players.

If paying in equal installments with cheques, the first cheque installment is due at the time the player accepts a position on a team and must be accompanied with postdated cheques for July 15, August 15, September 15, October 15 and November 15th. 

Fees may also be paid in full with cash or cheque at the time the player accepts a position on a team.

All cheques are payable to BLOMHA.

Note: Visa or Mastercard may be used to pay the full registration fee at the office.

Registration fees include: 

  • BLOMHA "Bulldogs" winter jacket for new players or those who require a new jacket. Players who do not require a jacket will receive a $50.00 refund. 
  • Team Jerseys (home/away) and socks to keep.  

Required Dress Code/Equipment

  • Bulldogs winter jacket, white dress shirt and dark tie (or Red Bulldogs track suit). All players must be dressed the same.  
  • Navy Blue helmet, navy blue pants with navy blue or black gloves.

Optional Apparel/Equipment

  • Bulldogs hats/toques/track suits, Team Official jackets, and equipment bags etc...are available for purchase with miscellaneous team funds through the designated BLOMHA supplier only: Al's Source for Sports, Fairview Street, Burlington. No equipment donations are permitted to any team under any circumstances. Consistency of equipment and dress code is mandatory for all Bulldogs teams.
