Submitted By Jean Katchanoski on Wednesday, January 5, 2022
The Ontario government announced new changes to further encourage vaccination and help limit the spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant.

Requirements that were effective December 20, 2021, which included proof of vaccination for everyone aged 12 and older attending an Ontario recreational facility, will as of January 4, 2022, be required to use the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code with verification using the Verify Ontario app.

More information on these requirements can be found at"Responding to Omicron and Protecting Our Progress"
