The season officially begins the weekend of October 18th.

When you subscribe to our calendar, you will get a notification if a change is made
that will occur within 2 weeks. If there is more than two weeks until the change is scheduled to take place, there is no notification. Please keep this in mind if you take screenshots or print images of your team schedule.

There will be ice sessions Thanksgiving weekend, however they will only be team practices.
If your player is unable to attend for any reason, they are not to be penalized. The season officially begins the weekend following Thanksgiving, so any ice assigned to your team ahead of this date is outside of the promised ice package and therefore may not fall within your age division's scheduled timeslots.
Rink closures - CLICK HERE
BLOMHA will not cancel ice sessions due to poor weather, we leave that decision to the City of Burlington. The office will not have different information for you when there is inclement weather. To stay up to date with rink closures,
click here and subscribe to the City of Burlington "Facility, Sports Field & Pool Closures." (see imagine below) If any Burlington arenas are closed, you will receive an email notification.
If the arena is closed, any BLOMHA programming that was scheduled will be cancelled or rescheduled for another time. If the city has not cancelled it, your scheduled ice session will go on as planned. Players who choose not to attend ice sessions during poor weather (when the arenas remain open) are not to be penalized.
