ON-ICE INSTRUCTORS
ALEX BEZERRA
Alex Bezerra is a Hockey Canada High Performance Coach and Certified Skills Instructor from Toronto, ON, who had spent his playing career in the GTHL and OJHL before progressing into the coaching world.
Alex's coaching experience spans 15 years across minor, prep, junior and professional hockey. Most recently, Alex was Assistant Coach for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL (affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres NHL). Prior to Cincinnati, Alex spent 6 years with the Mississauga Senators organization coaching the Bantam, Minor Midget and Midget AAA teams, and has held positions of President (Georgetown Raiders) and General Manager (Burlington Cougars) in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).
In his return to Ontario for the 2023/2024 season, Alex will take on the role of Head Coach with the Mississauga Reps U18 AAA Program and Player Development with the Oakville Blades OJHL.
DINO FELICETTI
Dino has been involved in hockey his whole life. He attended Seneca College at age 18 and broke all Canadian College scoring records, and then went on to have a successful 17-year career in Europe. It was an honour to play for the Italian National Team for 10 years and played in 8 World Championships. His greatest achievement was playing in the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan.
Dino has since returned home to his roots in Burlington where he has enjoyed coaching minor hockey at the AAA level. His mindset is that all kids should have an enjoyable experience as they develop into the best possible players they can be at a competitive level.
Dino has been a development coach for many organizations including Burlington, Hamilton and Toronto for both boys and girls hockey. He has helped many kids reach their hockey goals including making the next level for the OHL, NHL & NCAA.
MIKE BUDD
Mike's hockey career began when he played Burlington Eagles minor hockey, then Jr. A with the Burlington Cougars. Mike was selected for CJHL Top Prospects game as well as Team Canada East. After this, he went to UMass Lowell on a scholarship and then played six years professionally in Germany, China and the USA. Mike was an assistant coach with the Burlington Cougars Jr. A. and continues to work as a skill development coach at all levels and ages.
MIKE COSTA
Mike Costa has been teaching hockey players of all ages for over 25 years. From running his own Hockey School, teaching “Learn to Skate”, Power Skating, Coaching REP to refereeing with the GTHL. Mike holds a level 5 referee certification.
When he isn’t on the rink he is likely on a soccer pitch with his two kids. Mike is passionate about developing confident, creative and respectful players on and off the ice.
CHRIS CHARD - "CHARDY"
Chris Chard “Chardy“ has been involved with the game of hockey his whole life. Chardy played professionally in England for four years after playing at the University of Western Ontario. While overseas, Chardy was selected to play for the Great Britain national team.
From a coaching perspective, Chardy has coached all levels of minor hockey in Ontario. Four of the teams that he coached captured OMHA championship titles; two teams were OHF finalists.
Professionally, Chardy is a professor at Brock University; he teaches classes in finance in the prestigious Sport Management program. Personally, Chardy is married with two sons and a daughter: Cater, just finished a successful Jr. C career in Thamesford; Lucas who was a first team all-star in the GOJHL last season, and Jordan who is a competitive dancer.
JEREMY GOTTZMANN
Jeremy started his career started when he played for the Burlington Eagles before being drafted Rd 2 #28 overall by the Erie Otters in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection. Jeremy played 3 seasons in the OHL before continuing his hockey career in the OJHL where he took on multiple leadership roles over the next 3 seasons. He has since gone on to coach and help numerous players with their own hockey careers.
