    House League Certifications 2025-2026
    This list includes all the REQUIRED certifications for all bench staff positions for the 2025-2026 season. All required certifications must be complete for you to be confirmed in your volunteer role.

    On-Ice Helper Information
    On-Ice Helpers MUST complete a VSC submission & bench staff registration. Please view this document for the instructions. If you have not completed these steps you are not a recognized volunteer with BLOMHA and are not permitted or insured to be on the ice. If you submitted a VSC last season, please go to the link below and complete the required annual declaration.

    Submit your completed Vulnerable Sector Check at this link. If you submitted a VSC last season, you MUST go to this link and complete the annual declaration. To do that, fill out the form, at question 8, select "No (my VSC has not expired and want to complete the online declaration form)."

    Letter to Request VSC
    BLOMHA DOES NOT REIMBURSE FOR VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECKS. Please fill out this letter and use it if your local police department requests proof that you require a VSC. They will often not charge for volunteer roles, this letter proves that you are engaging in a volunteer role with BLOMHA/the Ontario Hockey Federation.

    2024-2025 OHF Minimum Suspension List
    Please note that this link will be updated to reflect the 2025-2026 OHF Minimum Suspension list once it becomes available. All Major Penalties are reported to Alliance Hockey (our immediate governing body) and once that has been complete it is out of our hands. Please note that NO BLOMHA STAFF MEMBER has the ability to change a major penalty assessment.
