The Bulldogs had an awesome weekend in Niagara, participating in a ten team U11 Select division.
On the Friday, the Bulldogs played 2 games, one resulting in a tie and they fell 2-3 vs. the Vaughan Rangers Red team in their second game. The loss really lit a fire under the team, and they did not lose a single game on the way to the Championships.
They faced the Pelham Panthers again in the Championship game. Both teams were evenly matched and ended regulation in a 3-3 tie. With 5 minutes of overtime on the clock, the Bulldogs locked in. With only 1:10 left they blasted one by the goalie to bring home the victory!
Congratulations to the Panthers on a well-played tournament and championship game. Thank you to Niagara for hosting a great weekend.
