WANTED: House League CONVENERS U9-U19
BLOMHA is beginning to plan for the 2025-2026 season and we are seeking Conveners to assist with age divisions U9 through U19. Click "Read More" for details.

We’re excited to kick off another great season of hockey—and we can’t do it without our incredible volunteers!
We are currently seeking Conveners for age divisions U9 - U19.

Want to get involved in minor hockey but don’t skate? No problem — we’re looking for House League Conveners for divisions from U9 to U19!

Conveners play a vital role in helping our season run smoothly. It’s a great way to support local hockey, stay involved, and make a difference in your community.

Responsibilities:

·  Be available by email (and occasionally phone) to support families in your division

·  Assist the Director of House League with coach communication, updates, and general questions

·  Be visible at the arena during your division’s scheduled ice times

No skating required — just a willingness to help!

If you are interested in volunteering in another role,
here’s what you’ll need to do:

Volunteer Requirements for every role (On-Ice Helpers included):

  1. Complete a volunteer application (returning volunteers should still fill this out)
  2. Successfully submit a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) to the Ontario Hockey Federation
  3. Complete mandatory training certifications

We are specifically in need of coaches at the U13 and U19 (high school) level.
