Due to the very, very limited ice currently available, we are hosting one skate for each team.
U14: MONDAY June 23rd from 8pm-9pm @ Appleby 1
U12: TUESDAY June 24 from 730-830pm @ Appleby 2
If your player was already registered for Select tryouts,
all you need to do is attend your designated skate.
Please ensure your player wears a jersey with a number on it.

must be registered for House League. This is a requirement by our governing body, Alliance Hockey.

The Program:
Select hockey is a great program for players who are ready for more ice time and competition. It is an extension of the House League program, and players will participate with both teams, and are on the ice quite a bit.
- Select teams may play up to 30 games in a season which includes 2-3 tournaments and exhibition games against other organizations outside of Burlington. Tournaments only count for the minimum number of games promised. You will have the same ice session from BLOMHA every week that you will practice and play games on vs. other centres with Select teams.
- Teams fundraise or get sponsorships to offset tournament costs, additional team costs, etc. Teams do not receive a budget from BLOMHA.
- No body checking, fair and equal ice time.
Includes:
- Home/Away jerseys
- Home game officials and timekeepers
- 1.5 - 2 hours of ice per week (varies by age) in addition to your house league commitment (1 – 2 ice sessions per week)
- 6 player and 3 goalie development sessions with pro instructors
- Players may have the chance to AP (affiliate player) to a BLOMHA MD/BB/B team
- Team & individual photo for both Select and House League
- Use of BLOMHA locker room at Appleby
- Use of BLOMHA meeting room
- Goalie equipment is available for all ages
Cost:
- $1780 in addition to house league cost ($625/$700).
At the time of SELECT registration, you may split this fee up into three installments:
$605.20 due at the time of registration
$587.40 charged to your payment method of choice on August and September 15th
