Coach, Trainer & Manager of the Year
Nominations for our annual Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Banquet have opened. Click "read more" for details and voting information. All nominees must be submitted by March 23.

If a Coach, Trainer or Manager really made a difference in your player's hockey experience this year, consider nominating them for Coach or Trainer of the Year. All nominations must be made by March 23rd.

The recipient of each award will be announced at the Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Banquet on April 18th. The banquet will be held at the Polish Hall on Fairview St in Burlington and will include a full sit down dinner & DJ. Nominees will receive one free ticket and may invite a guest who can purchase a ticket for the reduced cost of $80.

Nominations are being accepted for:

House League Coach of the Year (all age divisions);
House League Trainer of the Year (U9 + only);

Rep-MD U8 & U9 Coach of the Year; (winner for each age)
Rep-MD U8 & U9 Trainer of the Year; (winner for each age)
Rep-MD U8 & U9 Manager of the Year; (winner for each age)

Rep-BB/B U10-U18 Coach of the Year;
Rep-BB/B U10-U18 Trainer of the Year;
Rep-BB/B U10-U18 Manager of the Year;

Select Coach of the Year;
Select Trainer of the Year;
Select Manager of the Year


Please note: All submissions will be reviewed by the awards committee to choose official nominees and award recipients. Please note that more nominations does not necessarily give someone a greater "chance" to win.

Canadian Blind Hockey is the national sports organization for the Para sport of Blind Hockey in Canada. We change the lives of children, youth, and adults who are blind or partially sighted through our programs which include school field trips, youth teams, development camps, regional tournaments, and our flagship Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament. Our programming spans the country from coast-to-coast while supporting Canadian hockey players who are blind or partially sighted of all ages, from playing on the pond to proudly standing on the podium. Our community includes boys and girls as young as four years old who are taking their very first strides on skates, to the elite members of the Canadian National Blind Hockey Team who proudly wear the Maple Leaf in intl. competition.
