ADRIAN VOLPE

 Adrian is a graduate of Burlington Minor Hockey. In 2006 Adrian was drafted into the OHL by the Mississauga Ice Dogs. In the 2007-2008 season, Adrian was a member of the Niagara Ice Dogs of the OHL. From 2008-2010 he was also member of the Fort Erie Meteors of the GOJHL and the OJHL Oakville Blades. In the 2010 season, Adrian made the decision to move back to his hometown of Burlington and play for the Jr A. Burlington Cougars where he was the Tom Neziol and Mr. Cougar award winner, in addition to leading the Burlington Cougars to a Conference Championship. Adrian would then go on to play 4 years of Usport hockey at Brock University graduating in 2015 with a degree in Sociology. In addition to playing hockey and attending his classes at Brock Adrian would also take on the role of President of the Athletic council in his graduating year.  To finish off his career he would play 2 seasons, overseas in the NZIHL (New Zealand Ice Hockey league) playing for the Skycity Stampede where he would go on to win team MVP and 2 National Championships.

As a Goaltending, Coach Adrian focuses on the on- ice and off-ice aspects of becoming a better goaltender. Adrian believes in mentoring goaltenders with all facets of the game but places special importance on building a strong foundation for young goaltenders. 

Adrian operates all of his goalies lessons out of Cutting Edge Hockey Development Centre in Oakville where he is the Head Goalie Coach.
